Vi nærmer oss februar 2010 og vi jobber mot nye mål! Høstsemesteret 2009 ble alt nytt og spennende! Vi fikk ny "vikardirigent", Carina, som kom med nye og spennende idéer og nye måter å gjøre ting på. Det var nok uvant for mange, men vi tok det som en utfordring og opplevde nye ting ved oss selv og våre stemmer. Lærerikt og morsomt!

Vi har nettopp avsluttet fire dager med mange timers synging. Først hadde en helg med intensivt seminar, der vi sang både med og uten instruktører! Mandag hadde vi konsert under kulturuka og avsluttet det hele med øvelse på tirsdag! Dette har sikkert vært intenst for de aller fleste i koret. Vi er jo ikke vant til å synge så mye "på en gang"! Det er ennå noen uker til vår store konsert, - heldigvis, vil mange si! Vi bør derfor gjøre det vi kan for å holde helt til mål. Vi bør gjøre mer enn å øve!
Her er noen gode råd, hvis halsen blir sår, tørr eller klør: (Finn det som passer best for deg)
1) Man kan ta smertestillende. Da slapper stemmebåndene av.
2) Eucalyptushonning. Fås kjøpt på apoteket. Det smører halsen og gjør at den ikke er så tørr.
3) Prøv å puste inn vanndamp. Hold hodet over en kjele dampende vann. Dekk hodet og kjelen med et håndkle. Vent ca. 30 min. før du prater etterpå.
4) Gurgle halsen med en blanding av salvie og timian. Salvie er en urt og kan kjøpes som urtete i helsekostbutikker.
5) Varm saft og matolje. Varm litt saft. Ta en skje matolje og drikk den varme saften etterpå.
6) En teskje honning morgen og kveld noen dager.
Viktig: All varm drikke er bra for sår hals, unntatt melk! Melk gir mye slim i halsen og kan gjøre det vanskelig å puste!
